This week I wanted to share with you my absolute favourite aftercare product from the Electric Ink Skincare range.
Before I discovered Electric Ink, I was a terrible tattooed human being and I didn’t put anything on my tattoos once they had healed. Yes, you can all ridicule and judge me. However, now I have the best aftercare in my life and my tattoos are much happier.
I have the full range from Electric Ink (including the daily moisturiser, body wash exfoliator and vibrancy serum) and I use each product at different times. So far, the Body Oil has been my favourite by miles.
Firstly, I tend to use this morning and night, especially after getting out the shower. As it contains coconut oil, it is amazing for keeping the skin moisturised. But also, with it having such a light texture, it sinks into the skin really well and doesn’t leave you feeling sticky and horrible. So you’re free to get stressed right away.
Obviously, this body oil also makes your ink look insanely defined and fresh! It’s crazy how this one product can brighten up my tattoos instantly.
Although this is a ‘tattoo aftercare product’, I also use it on non-tattooed skin too.
The oil specifically is great to use on skin with any stretch marks. One of it’s incredible ingredients is a white lupin seed extract which is used to improve your skin’s elasticity and firmness. Hence why it helps us all out those stretch marks.
(Not that I’m trying to hide them because I’m embarrassed, but I would just like to reduce them.)
Also, this product smells AMAZING!!
I literally can’t rave enough about how much I love the scent. And, it even stays smelling good all day! If this came in a fragrance, I would 100% be buying that too. * hint hint – please make a fragrance*
Finally, I wanted to touch on the packaging. It’s perfect. The boxes and bottles are so different to everything else you see on the market. They’re new, fresh and unique, and they look awesome on my bathroom shelf.
I would definitely recommend trying out the Defining Body Oil, as well as the rest of the range too. As it is all equally great for your skin, as well as keeping that ink looking fab.
