Exfoliating helps to remove dead skin cells and other impurities that can make your tattoos look dull and lifeless. Benefits of exfoliating your tattoo include fresher, smoother skin and brighter and more defined tattoos.
For new tattoos, you should wait until the tattoo is healed before exfoliating. This may take two or three weeks, but could be as long as a month or more. Everyone’s tattoo heals differently.
